Tattoo Apprenticeship Files, Part 00:

We've reached a new milestone in my apprenticeship, friends. I am now in the "application stage". This is when I use all of the nuggets of wisdom and hours of watching Josh has provided, and actually run needles in my machines to practice tattooing.

Josh bought me an item called A Pound of Flesh, which is a fake rubber-ish hand that is made specifically for tattoo practice on something similar to human flesh. Until now, apprentices used grapefruits, pig skin from a butcher, and friends (who are willing to get awful tattoos to help a guy out) for practice. So, I decided to use the fake hand to pay tribute to Josh by re-creating the tattoos on his left hand in my own style.
